Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable cloud-hosted environments for application delivery
• Take ownership of build and release pipelines, ensuring consistency and reliability across deployments
• Oversee application promotions across environments, including recovery and rollback planning
• Introduce automation across infrastructure and deployment processes using code-driven approaches
• Work with development teams to optimize build, test, and release practices
• Investigate and resolve issues across environments, including pipeline failures and live production incidents
• Contribute to system monitoring, alerting, and ongoing service reliability improvements
• Apply and enforce security considerations across systems and delivery pipelines

Skills

• Background working with Linux-based systems across enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience within major cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Practical experience delivering and managing applications in distributed environments
• Strong scripting and automation capability (e.g., Python, shell scripting)
• Exposure to container technologies and orchestration platforms
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and system connectivity
• Experience applying controlled release strategies in production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills across systems, automation pipelines, and applications
