They are seeking experienced Database Administrators and SQL Developers to support enterprise database administration and modernization initiatives across multiple state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server databases
• Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning recommendations
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams
• Troubleshoot database-related production issues
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards

Skills

• 5+ years of SQL Server Database Administration
• 5+ years of SQL Development (T-SQL)
• Database Performance Tuning
• Backup and Recovery
• Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions

• Experience supporting enterprise production environments

• Candidate must be a current South Carolina resident
