As a Data Scientist, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to extract, analyze, and visualize data using Power BI, develop data models, and create interactive dashboards to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and objectives
• Extract, clean, and preprocess data from various sources for analysis
• Develop predictive models, statistical analyses, and algorithms to solve complex business problems
• Build tools to automate data collection
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making
• Conduct data exploration and visualization to identify trends and patterns
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis and Power BI

Skills

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree or 4 years w/an Associates
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, however an active DoD Secret Clearance is preferred
• Proficiency in data modeling, data transformation, and data analysis
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, including the creation of interactive reports and dashboards
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python or R is a plus
• Experience with SQL, PowerShell, Python, and R for data manipulation and extraction
• An active DoD Secret Clearance
