[Remote] Data Analyst - Salesforce
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Data Analyst - Salesforce (Remote) for their premier client. The role involves data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to support Salesforce design and migration, while ensuring data quality and providing actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Review current data sources relevant to Salesforce design and migration
- Profile data to identify duplicates, missing values, inconsistent formats, outdated records, invalid values, and other data quality concerns
- Assist with data cleaning, standardization, normalization, and transformation planning
- Support source-to-target mapping between current systems and proposed Salesforce structures
- Build validation reports, exception reports, reconciliation reports, and BI views needed to evaluate data readiness
- Identify gaps between vendor assumptions, source data realities, business needs, and reporting requirements
- Document data definitions, transformation rules, assumptions, exceptions, and unresolved decisions
- Support internal staff in reviewing vendor-provided mapping, migration, and reporting documentation
- Provide analysis that helps determine whether certain data should be migrated, transformed, archived, summarized, or excluded
- Participate in working sessions with staff and project stakeholders as needed
Skills
- Data profiling, cleansing, validation, and transformation
- BI/reporting analysis using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, CRM Analytics, SQL-based reporting, or similar tools
- Source-to-target mapping and migration readiness
- SQL, Excel, structured data analysis, and reporting datasets
- Data quality issue identification and documentation
- Working with business and technical stakeholders during active system implementation projects
- Translating data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for internal teams
