[Remote] Content Strategist

Remote · Denmark Full-time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Colibri Group is a pioneer in online professional education, serving over 1 million customers annually. The Content Strategist will shape and scale content for test preparation and certification, driving strategy and execution while ensuring alignment with learner and market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product and business objectives into a cohesive content roadmap for your assigned category
  • Define priorities, themes, and release sequencing across formats and modalities
  • Contribute market insights, portfolio recommendations, and risk/opportunity assessments to inform future strategy
  • Ensure roadmap decisions align with exam requirements, learner needs, competitive landscape, and business goals
  • Lead intake and triage processes for test prep and certification content requests
  • Clarify goals, audience, and success criteria to ensure strong alignment from the start
  • Prioritize and group work to maximize cross-brand reuse and reduce redundant development
  • Establish and maintain work-in-progress (WIP) limits to support predictable delivery
  • Lead the scoping and design of test prep products, including defining the right mix of assets (e.g., question banks, flashcards, courses, study guides)
  • Define detailed requirements, including coverage, depth, difficulty, learning objectives, and production standards
  • Leverage AI-enabled workflows to accelerate planning, generating structured briefs and outlines with clear quality guardrails
  • Oversee curriculum and test blueprint mapping across content assets
  • Define and maintain standards for taxonomy, tagging, and traceability
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate completeness and identify gaps or redundancies
  • Own the canonical content library for your category and establish a clear framework for build vs. adapt vs. retire decisions
  • Drive ongoing maintenance strategies as exams, curricula, and requirements evolve
  • Lead regular portfolio reviews to identify opportunities for revision, extension, replacement, or retirement
  • Partner with Talent & Resource teams to define SME profiles and contributor needs
  • Establish selection criteria and quality standards to ensure credibility and consistency
  • Provide clear expectations, structured briefs, and feedback loops to reduce rework and improve outcomes
  • Maintain working knowledge of Continuing Education (CE) strategy processes to support broader portfolio needs
  • Provide support on CE initiatives during peak demand or coverage gaps while maintaining primary roadmap priorities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required (Education, Instructional Design, Psychometrics/Assessment, Communications, or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, test preparation, certification prep, assessment-driven learning products, or professional education publishing
  • Proven ability to think at the portfolio level, managing a content library rather than individual assets
  • Experience designing and scoping test prep products such as question banks, flashcards, courses, and study guides
  • Strong experience with curriculum or test blueprint mapping and maintaining traceability over time
  • Experience partnering with SMEs, including defining profiles, selecting contributors, and driving quality outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and product objectives into clear strategies, requirements, and execution plans
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Program Management, and B2B/Solutions teams
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using performance metrics and learner feedback to inform decisions
  • Experience working with content and project management systems and maintaining clear documentation
  • Comfort working in dynamic environments with evolving priorities and cross-functional dependencies
  • Experience working with high-stakes or credentialing exam prep products
  • Familiarity with blueprinting, item quality standards, and defensibility requirements
  • Experience supporting multiple modalities and sequencing releases across formats
  • Experience using AI in content planning workflows (e.g., generating structured briefs, improving planning efficiency)
  • Experience supporting enterprise or academic partners requiring curriculum mapping
  • Familiarity with continuing education (CE) or regulated learning environments
