The role involves ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure – 30%
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures using services from AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Automate Infrastructure and Deployments (IaC) – 25%
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate environment setup
• Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Optimize Systems – 20%
• Use monitoring tools to track system health, resolve performance issues, and continuously optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency
• Ensure Security and Compliance – 15%
• Apply cloud security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure systems comply with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Support CI/CD and DevOps Practices – 10%
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, integrating automation to streamline code deployments and testing workflows

Skills

• US Citizenship is required per government contract
• Minimum of 5 years of Cloud Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong scripting skills
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud Platform Expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) – 3+ years
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) – 2+ years
• Networking & Security in the Cloud – 3+ years
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.) – 2+ years
• Scripting & Automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) – 3+ years
• CI/CD & DevOps Tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) – 2+ years
