The Business Development Manager - Data Centers will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the data center industry, developing relationships with key decision makers, and implementing business development strategies.

Responsibilities

• Seeking, developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers
• Creating and implementing business development strategies
• Achieving sales targets
• Coordinating and collaborating with internal technical and product teams to ensure client needs are met
• Participating in industry events and conferences

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related field
• Business Development and Sales skills
• Knowledge of Energy Solutions (generators, distributed power, UPSs, BESS, microgrids)
• Minimum of 5 years experience selling directly into the Data Center industry specifically with Hyperscalers, Colocators, Integrators, Developers, etc
• Experience with Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) firms
• Ability to develop, implement and execute business strategies
• Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Analyze opportunities and customer needs
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Conduct Sales Presentations and Product Training
• Project management and coordination skills
• Participation in data center industry organizations
• Provide reconnaissance of competitors' influence and develop a plan to counter their influence
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Experience with SAP, Sales Force or similar CRM systems and data analysis
