Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organization that provides practical experience in consulting projects for students. The Business Consultant Intern will collaborate with teams to tackle real-world business problems, conduct market research, and develop innovative strategies for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Consultants will be working in teams of 6-8 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project
  • Market trends, predictions and suggestions
  • Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure the meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time
  • Development of primary research sources among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching
  • Understand sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable
  • Financial analysis and modelling of companies under your coverage
  • Analysing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation
  • Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients
  • Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders

Skills

  • Be through your first, second or last year at university
  • Master's and PhD students are also accepted
  • Ability to commit to this position for a minimum of three months
