Zolon Tech Inc. is a prime contractor with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), focused on cloud operations and business modernization. They are seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are clearly defined and documented while facilitating communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate meetings and working sessions with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Assess current business processes, operational workflows, and organizational needs to identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and technology enhancements
• Translate business needs into clearly defined requirements, user stories, workflows, process documentation, and actionable tasks
• Manage and maintain Jira boards, epics, stories, tasks, dashboards, and reporting while supporting both Kanban and Scrum-based workflows
• Identify business and technology gaps that may impact operational objectives and work collaboratively with stakeholders to recommend practical solutions
• Facilitate communication and coordination across cross-functional teams to ensure requirements, priorities, dependencies, risks, and expectations are clearly understood
• Prepare meeting notes, action items, executive summaries, status reports, and other project documentation to support program execution and leadership decision-making
• Support strategic planning discussions, operational reviews, stakeholder engagements, and validation activities to ensure solutions align with business objectives

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement activities
• Strong experience managing work within Jira, including dashboards, reporting, backlog management, user stories, workflow tracking, and Agile project support
• Experience supporting Agile delivery models, including Kanban and Scrum methodologies
• Strong facilitation, meeting management, documentation, and note-taking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Commensurate experience and education
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
• Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts
• Familiarity with cloud operations, infrastructure, IT operations, or managed service environments
• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Experience supporting operational programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
