They are seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to manage the billing side of clinician assignments, ensuring accurate invoicing, tracking payments, and maintaining organized records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate client invoices
• Review timesheets, expenses, and supporting documentation
• Confirm rates, hours, reimbursements, and billing details before invoices are sent
• Track payments, outstanding balances, and aging reports
• Reconcile billing records and help identify discrepancies
• Communicate with internal team members, clients, and vendors when billing questions arise
• Maintain clean, organized records for invoices, contracts, timesheets, and expenses
• Assist with reporting, audits, and billing process improvements
• Work within vendor management systems and client billing platforms as needed

Skills

• Experience with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounting support, or a similar administrative finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable reviewing contracts, rate sheets, timesheets, and expense documentation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and billing or accounting software
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience in healthcare staffing, locum tenens, medical billing, or professional services billing
• Experience with Locumsmart, HWL, or similar vendor management systems
• Healthcare staffing experience
• Locum tenens or anesthesia staffing experience
