The role involves challenging language models on various linguistic topics and suggesting improvements to enhance model performance.

Responsibilities

• Converse with the model on language scenarios
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
• Capture reproducible error traces
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

Skills

• Bhojpuri language expertise
• Knowledge of Bhojpuri grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics
• Ability to challenge advanced language models on topics like verb conjugation, case system (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive), word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation
• Experience in documenting failure modes of language models
• Ability to converse with the model on language scenarios
• Skill in verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness
• Ability to capture reproducible error traces
• Skill in suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
• Bachelor's degree in Bhojpuri language, linguistics, or a closely related field
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills
• Peer-reviewed publications
• Teaching experience
• Hands-on linguistic analysis projects
