Responsibilities

• Evaluating candidate cache responses against incoming requests
• Analyzing runtime signals, similarity scores, TTL configurations, and state indicators
• Assessing cache reuse safety and identifying potential side-effect risks
• Applying engineering judgement to real-world backend scenarios
• Classifying outcomes based on system behaviour and operational risk
• Providing confidence ratings and structured technical reasoning
• Helping improve how advanced AI systems reason about backend architecture and caching decisions

Skills

• Professional experience as a Backend Engineer, Systems Engineer, SRE, Data Engineer, or Backend Architect
• Hands-on experience with Redis and caching technologies
• Strong understanding of TTLs, cache invalidation, data consistency, and state management
• Experience working with production APIs and distributed systems
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to evaluate technical scenarios and explain engineering decisions clearly
