Anthropologie Weddings is seeking a Temporary Senior Designer, Color Concept who will translate seasonal fashion trends into distinctive color stories. The role involves partnering with the Concept team to align color direction and ensure consistency from trend research through concept development.

Responsibilities

• Translate seasonal fashion trends into distinctive color stories across Anthropologie apparel brands, building focused palettes that support all categories with clarity and cohesion
• Partner closely with the Concept team to align color direction and ensure consistency from early trend research through concept development, bringing a refined creative vision to color
• Demonstrates strong awareness of fashion, art, and cultural shifts, translating insight into brand-right color direction aligned with seasonal needs
• Partners early in concept development, using trend research to help define mood, tone, and palette direction, translating concepts into clear, actionable color strategies across product
• Develops focused seasonal palettes, including hero colors and supporting combinations, elevating clarity and cohesion across brands while building and refining color to ensure consistency and differentiation from concept through final product
• Creates balanced and intentional color assortments, driving cohesion, contrast, and range across seasonal needs and strengthening differentiation across brand identities
• Prepares and manages color tools (palettes, guides, recaps) for seasonal milestones with accuracy, clearly communicating intent to support cross-functional alignment
• Upholds color standards across development, ensuring consistency from concept through execution, including alignment to Pantone systems and production requirements
• Presents color direction with clarity and confidence, articulating creative intent and influencing cross-functional partners through a strong, refined point of view
• Aligns on seasonal direction and priorities. Owns communication and ensures follow-through across deliverables
• Fosters collaboration and accountability. Models high standards and reinforces shared expectations
• Ensures alignment, clarifies intent, resolves gaps, and protects creativity
• Influences alignment by representing design perspective clearly and driving toward shared outcomes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 9+ years relevant industry experience, ideally within fashion or lifestyle design
• Understands how creative decisions impact product, brand expression, and commercial outcomes
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and production-ready file standards
• Confident operating within shared digital systems and cross-functional workflows
• Fluent in Pantone systems across creative and production settings
• Uses AI to enhance ideation, visual storytelling, and presentations while maintaining strong creative authorship and brand alignment
