Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Divurgent is a solutions provider focused on healthcare consulting and operational effectiveness. They are seeking an Altera (Eclipsys) Sunrise Financial Analyst to provide support for the Revenue Cycle environment and collaborate with various teams to ensure business continuity during system transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for the Altera (Eclipsys) Revenue Cycle environment
• Support Altera Sunrise Patient Financial Manager (PFM), which serves as the organization s technical billing system
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues impacting Revenue Cycle operations
• Support patient registration workflows across: Inpatient, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Urgent Care, Therapy Services (Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy, and Mental Health Social Work)
• Investigate interface, billing, charge capture, registration, and workflow issues
• Perform system configuration changes, maintenance, and testing as needed
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership and operational stakeholders to prioritize and resolve incidents
• Document application changes, issue resolutions, and support processes
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities with the Epic implementation team as appropriate
• Assist with production support during system upgrades, maintenance windows, and stabilization efforts
• Escalate complex technical issues to vendor support when necessary and coordinate issue resolution

Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Altera (formerly Eclipsys) Sunrise applications in an acute care hospital environment
• Strong experience supporting Sunrise Patient Financial Manager (PFM)
• Experience supporting patient registration and hospital billing workflows
• Knowledge of healthcare Revenue Cycle processes including: Patient Registration, Insurance Verification, Charge Capture, Hospital Billing, Claims Processing, Payment Posting, Accounts Receivable
• Experience troubleshooting production issues in a live healthcare environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and operational stakeholders
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
