They are seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to develop cutting-edge, AI-powered video creation tools and collaborate with a talented engineering team to create innovative features and improve code quality.

Responsibilities

• Create rich multimedia interfaces using the cutting edge of the latest AI video generation models Gen-4 and Aleph
• Build end-to-end full-stack AI-powered product features — designing and developing both frontend experiences and backend systems, including authoring server-side processes and APIs that power our generative AI tools
• Design and implement LLM-powered features and conversational interfaces
• Partner with a world-class engineering team pushing the boundaries of creativity and content creation on the browser
• Take on new challenges across the Frontend stack to implement product features for Runway’s machine learning based generative AI tools
• Improve the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebases

Skills

• 3+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, ideally full-stack focused
• Demonstrated fluency of one or more programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience building with third-party AI APIs (e.g., chatbots, LLM integrations)
• Experience in architecting production-ready systems and familiarity with debugging and profiling tools
• Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlines
• Humility and open mindedness; at Runway we love to learn from one another
