The Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, payments, and account reconciliation while supporting the company's financial health.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send invoices and customer account statements
• Verify rates and terms are in line with customer contracts before invoicing
• Verify and post receipts from lockbox, ACH, and other payment channels
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and arrange payment plans
• Own and manage end-to-end dunning process
• Maintain accurate AR files and records
• Update customer account information as needed
• Assist in preparing AR reports for management
• Support audits by providing documentation
• Work closely with finance and operations teams to resolve issues promptly

Skills

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of AR or accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
