Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Roquette is a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to manage existing industrial customers in North America while also exploring new markets and applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the sales plan on a customer and territory level
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the customer organization
• Develop in-depth understanding of customer needs and capabilities
• Create, maintain, and progress an opportunity pipeline to drive above-market growth in the territory
• Scout new potential customers in previously unknown industrial markets and/or new applications
• Adapt product value proposition to new applications, as needed
• Hands on profile (compose commercial proposals for existing and new customers, coordinating trials at potential customers, conduct business reviews with existing customers, accurately forecast customer demand, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish new commercial relationships fast as well as new internal relationships with regional teams around the global

Skills

• Chemistry or technical background/degree combined with at least 5 years in sales/application development/customer facing roles
• Excels at teamwork
• Ability to relate/adapt across multiple cultures
• Strong entrepreneurial drive with a desire to deliver solutions with speed and agility
• Customer Focus/ Action Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm

• Communicates Effectively – Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Experience in markets like coatings, paints, ceramics, paper would be considered as a strong plus
