Position: Law Clerk Type: Contract Compensation: $42 - $55/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms.
• Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages.
• Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
• Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
• Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
• Have hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way.
• Possess a strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
• Be comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
