Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our fully remote team. This position offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the potential for growth within our firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in tax preparation, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Review financial documents, such as income statements and expense reports, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters clearly.
• Maximize client tax benefits by identifying eligible deductions and credits.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of client data. Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation or related field (minimum of 2 tax seasons).
• Proficiency with UltraTax software is required.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience with tax preparation software and strong computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during tax season. Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification as an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse client profiles, including small business owners.
• Multilingual abilities are a bonus but not required. Schedule & Work Environment:
