Start 2023 out with a great opportunity working part-time for the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, who has collected data on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) for 50 years. Customer service experience, a sales background, or farming knowledge, along with time management skills, self-motivation and attention to detail are helpful for interviewing operations (in-person and by telephone) to gather information from livestock and crop entities of all sizes. Projects may include Farm and Ranch Resource Management this winter/spring, a study of farm activity on selected acres in the summer and doing crop counts in corn and soybean fields in the fall.

• A flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
• Hourly wage starts at $17.75+ per hour, supplies provided and mileage reimbursement
