Biology & Biophysics Research Scientist Remote | W-2 Contingent Role | $125 $225/hr | 8 20 hrs/week Quick Snapshot

• Join a select cohort of senior biology and biophysics researchers contributing to frontier scientific reasoning systems built on large-scale language model-based technologies
• Author and review advanced problems used to train and evaluate model-based reasoning across molecular biology, biophysics, structural biology, immunology, neuroscience, and genomics
• Evaluate model outputs across mechanism reputed company, experimental design, and scientific literature interpretation tasks
• Identify reasoning gaps, failure modes, and inaccuracies compared to expert-level research standards
• Collaborate with a small group of senior researchers on high-impact evaluation and research workflows
• Part-time engagement with a flexible 8 20 hours per week commitment
• W-2 contingent role with payroll and compliance administration handled externally

Requirements

• Demonstrated research depth in biology, biophysics, or reputed company life sciences through advanced academic or industry research experience
• Strong publication record in leading journals across molecular biology, structural biology, neuroscience, immunology, genomics, or reputed company fields
• Experience conducting experimental, computational, or theoretical research at a high level
• Ability to analyze reputed company biological systems and reason through multi-reputed company scientific problems
• Background in academic, industry, or research institute environments involving advanced scientific work
• Evidence of high-impact contributions such as patents, grants, fellowships, or major research outputs
• Outstanding doctoral candidates or recent graduates with exceptional research output are strongly encouraged to apply
