Senior Privacy Analyst

Using probability theory and other techniques to measure a set of risks that are associated with sharing databases or datasets that contain sensitive personal health information for research and other useful purposes. Then, define a set or strategies that can be used to transform the data so it meets regulatory requirements and significantly reduces the risks associated with data sharing. Meet (remotely or on-site) two times each week with other qualified team members as part of an expert committee that is focused on analyzing the risks of sharing sensitive personal data with a defined target recipient(s). Then, work independently researching, documenting, and communicating the committee’s defined risk calculations and de-identification rules to clients. We will provide orientation and training for tools, industry standards, and the info incognito risk-based methodology for applying the HIPAA expert determination method. Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Mathematics or Master’s or Doctorate degree in Statistics.
• Familiarity with HIPAA expert determination methods, data masking, anonymization, or de-identification is a plus.
• Passion for math & technology.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and team skills.
• Part-time 8–16 hours per week.
