Develop and implement data risk management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with financial services regulations. Create and lead a team of data risk advisors, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals and objectives. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability within the organization's data systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and analyze data risk trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Communicate data risk management policies and procedures to all relevant parties and ensure their understanding and adherence. Stay informed on emerging data risk management technologies and tools to enhance the organization's risk management capabilities. Serve as a subject matter expert on data risk management for the organization, providing guidance and support to other departments and teams. Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management on data risk management initiatives and progress. Conduct training and development sessions for employees to ensure a strong understanding of data risk management principles and procedures. Continually evaluate and improve data risk management processes and procedures to maintain the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency.
