Manager, Billing Operations

We are seeking a Billing Manager for our Bangalore-India Office who will be responsible for leading end-to-end billing operations with a strong focus on consumption-based billing (Direct & Marketplace), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all billing activities. This role requires hands-on expertise in NetSuite, reconciliations, reporting, and people leadership, along with the ability to manage cross-functional communication and support month/quarter-end close activities Billing Operations & Accuracy Manage consumption-based billing processes, including both Direct and Marketplace billing models Ensure all billing validations and control checks are performed to maintain high levels of accuracy Perform reconciliations between Marketplace billing data and NetSuite billing outputs, identify variances, and drive resolution Review invoices and ensure adherence to company policies and contractual terms Drive continuous improvement in billing workflows and automation Perform daily analysis, exception review, and system reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and saved searches in NetSuite to support business needs Develop and execute ad hoc queries and analysis for business insights and decision-making Track and manage billing-related emails/queries, ensuring timely and professional responses Partnership with FP&A / GTM Ops for forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility. Take full ownership of billing controls & ensure smooth month-end and quarter-end close cycles with no delays or escalations Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience CA / CPA / CMA with 7+ years of experience, OR M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of relevant experience. SuiteBilling or Marketplace tooling experience is a plus Strong experience with NetSuite (preferred) and exposure to Salesforce.com is a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in consumption-based / usage-based billing environments Should be able to manage team size of 4 to 5 direct reports Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email communication is critical) Proven people management and leadership experience Ability to handle complex billing scenarios and reconcile large datasets Ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced, global environment Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and accountability Preferred Attributes Experience with Marketplace billing (AWS/Azure etc) Exposure to subscription billing tools (e.g., SuiteBilling) Experience working in a multi-entity / international environment Revenera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
