Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support our daily financial operations and assist the Finance Manager with month-end processes. Your main tasks will include: Month-End Support: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including processing accruals, prepayments,and balance sheet reconciliations. Revenue Calculations: Calculation of Deferred and Accrued revenue. Reconciliations: Reconciling customer payments efficiently within Xero. Invoicing: Creating and managing customer invoices using our billing platform, Stripe. Credit Control: Conducting proactive credit control and cash collection activities to ensure healthy cash flow. Ledger Management: Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier invoices accurately. Other ad hoc tasks as required Skills & Qualifications Required Part qualified or fully qualified Accountant: willing to consider qualified by experience candidates. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial task execution. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan ahead, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Deadline-Driven: Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight month-end deadlines without compromising on accuracy. Desirable Hands-on experience using Xero and/or Stripe. Prior experience working within a small, agile accounts or finance team.
