This position requires: Insurance or Healthcare claims experience, skills in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IDz, and CICS - if you don't have all these, please don't apply Recent (the past two years) mainframe development experience, U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (no exceptions, also no 1099, C2C, or recruiters), a background investigation to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Job Summary As a Mainframe Developer, you will take on interesting challenges both sustaining and modernizing multiple programs. Responsibilities and Duties Provide application support, application enhancements, and production support Conduct research, analyze information, and perform analysis to support the delivery of defect corrections Troubleshoot complex issues Develop scripts and other utilities to implement production data fixes Create, monitor, and optimize performance Develop standards, guidelines, and best practices Qualifications and Required Skills Must Have Skills: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IDz, CICS Industry experience: Insurance (claims), Healthcare (Medicare or Medicaid claims processing) Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of Mainframe Developer experience.
