Expertise in plant physiology, genetics, soil science, and data analysis is essential. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and oversee research projects in plant science and sustainable agriculture. Investigate novel approaches for crop improvement, including breeding techniques, genetic modification, and agronomic practices. Analyze soil and plant samples to assess health, nutrient levels, and disease presence. Develop and test innovative methods for pest and disease management using biological and ecological approaches. Conduct field trials to evaluate new crop varieties and cultivation techniques under various environmental conditions. Manage and mentor a team of junior scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative research environment. Analyze and interpret complex datasets using statistical software and bioinformatics tools. Prepare detailed research reports, scientific publications, and presentations for stakeholders. Proven experience in leading research teams and managing complex projects. Strong knowledge of plant physiology, molecular biology, genetics, and soil science. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS) and data visualization tools. Experience with field trial design and data collection methodologies.
