  • Independently lead the hands‑on development of complex data integrations using ETL/ELT technologies, migrating data from application systems and file sources into cloud data platforms
  • Build, enhance, and support data pipelines and orchestration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
  • Design, develop, and optimize database objects including SQL views, stored procedures, tables, and indexes in Azure SQL Database and Snowflake
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and data warehouse performance within production environments
  • Provide advanced operational support and root‑cause analysis for data warehouse and analytics‑related issues
  • Act as a technical point of escalation and provide guidance to other data engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Develop and support Power BI semantic models, datasets, and reports as required to support business reporting needs
  • Maintain technical documentation, data models, development standards, and version control for data warehouse solutions
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across data architecture, ETL processes, performance, and development practices
  • Research and evaluate emerging analytics and cloud data platform technologies to inform future improvements

Essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimal 6–8 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions
  • Strong hands‑on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
  • Advanced experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure SQL Database and Snowflake, including complex SQL development and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in production environments
  • Working knowledge of Power BI data models and datasets, with experience supporting analytics platforms and business users
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership on complex work while remaining a highly hands‑on individual contributor

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed development teams
  • Familiarity with data quality, governance, or security practices
