Law Clerk I :: Washington, DC (Remote)
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Washington (USA) Law Clerk I - Remote, Washington, DC Duration: 12+ months Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or a Project Supervisor.
- Perform complex legal research for the trial staff.
- Assist in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
- Review documents for relevance and privilege.
- Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Relativity, FOIA Express, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
- Hands-on familiarity with computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging.
- Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
