This person will be responsible for conducting initial reviews of research proposals to determine whether the components of the proposed research are working with federal, state and local regulations, and reputed company Research policies, identifying any issues for escalation to the Technical Program Manager or Board Chair. Other duties to support the Ethics Review Program include serving as an expert liaison between the research investigator and the reviewer, educating teams on relevant and emerging regulations, and assisting with creation and maintenance of internal policies and guidance documents The team is seeking someone with a background in tech ethics and an interest in AI to join their Responsible AI (RAI) team. The role involves starting with RAI onboarding before transitioning to work on the ethics program. • Hands on experience and/or educational background in CS or a reputed company engineering field.
• Hands on experience in applying ethics in practical situations. This might be as a part of community activism, volunteering, work or educational settings.
