Insurance Lawyer

Remote · Senegal Full-time

We are currently seeking an Insurance Lawyer to join our bench. Responsibilities: Draft and review insurance policies, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while protecting clients' interests. Provide expert legal advice on general insurance queries, coverage issues, claims management, and risk assessment. Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims handlers, to provide legal support and advice on insurance-related matters, fostering a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Minimum Qualifications: At least 4 years of post qualification experience in insurance law, either within a law firm or in-house corporation. Strong background in policy drafting, general insurance queries, broker agreements, and reinsurance work. Exceptional analytical skills, sound judgment, and a pragmatic and commercially-focused approach to resolving legal issues in the insurance industry.
