Business Insurance Credentialing Specialist Needed – Home Health & PAS Agency (Texas) We are seeking an experienced healthcare insurance credentialing specialist to assist our growing Texas-based home health and PAS agency with payer enrollment, contract follow-up, and network participation management. Agency Services: - Home Health Skilled Nursing - PAS / Personal Attendant Services - Medicaid & Medicare - Adult and Pediatric Services Experience Required: - Home Health agency credentialing - Texas Medicaid MCO enrollment - Medicare/Medicaid provider enrollment - Availity experience preferred - PECOS / TMHP knowledge preferred - Experience working with managed care organizations (MCOs) Current Payers Include: - Wellpoint - Molina - Superior HealthPlan - UnitedHealthcare - Aetna - Cook Children’s Health Plan - Other Texas Medicaid MCOs Responsibilities: - Follow up on pending credentialing applications - Contact insurance representatives directly - Assist with adding additional service lines to existing contracts - Track credentialing statuses and provider IDs - Submit and monitor enrollment applications - Help resolve payer portal or enrollment issues - Maintain organized credentialing spreadsheets and updates - Assist with contracting and recredentialing tasks Ideal Candidate: - Strong communication skills - Organized and detail-oriented - Able to independently follow up with insurance companies - Familiar with home health billing/provider structures - Understands Texas Medicaid and managed care systems Project Type: Ongoing / Long-Term Preferred Please respond with: 1.
