Position: Programmer 3 - GRC Administrator & Developer Location: Lansing, MI Hybrid (Only Local Candidates ) Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension) Interview Process: In-Person Req ID: 159340 Job Description We are seeking a Programmer 3 - GRC Administrator & Developer to support the administration, development, and enhancement of the State's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, Navex IRM (formerly Keylight). This role will collaborate with security, audit, compliance, and technology teams to automate processes, integrate enterprise systems, and improve governance and risk management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather security and compliance requirements and develop automation solutions. Lead automation efforts for security accreditation processes, including evidence collection, workflow routing, and control reviews. Design and implement security control frameworks aligned with State standards and industry compliance requirements. Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and API integrations. Integrate CMDB, vulnerability management, audit evidence, and compliance data into the GRC platform. Build and maintain REST API integrations for data import, export, and reporting using JSON and CSV formats. Troubleshoot application and integration issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain technical documentation, source code repositories, and project artifacts. Coordinate with vendors regarding software maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution. Perform testing, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support activities. Participate in Agile development processes and cross-functional project initiatives. Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of Python programming experience. 1-2+ years of API integration and automation development experience. 2-3+ years of database design and data management experience. Experience working with RESTful APIs and data formats such as JSON and CSV. Basic programming knowledge in Java or C#. Understanding of DevOps concepts and software development best practices. Knowledge of Risk Management principles. Experience working in Agile environments and sprint-based development. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, preferably Navex IRM. Knowledge of automated testing methodologies. Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks. Experience working with CJIS, IRS 1075, PCI, ARC-AMPE, or similar standards. Experience with Azure Repos, SharePoint, and enterprise documentation management.
