Graphic Design Specialist Department: Quality Care Rehab Employment Type: Full Time Location: Home Office Description Position Statement The Graphic Designer serves as a key creative partner within TMC’s Culture, Engagement & Impact Division, translating ideas into compelling visual experiences that strengthen culture, elevate our brand, and support organizational initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Creative & Brand, this role creates high-quality creative assets across print, digital, social media, presentations, video, events, recruiting, philanthropy, employee recognition, and internal communications. Success in this position requires exceptional design ability, creativity, adaptability, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, enjoys collaborating with others, embraces constructive feedback, and takes pride in producing polished work that reflects excellence while helping simplify communication across the organization. By streamlining creative workflows, delivering timely and high-quality assets, and enhancing storytelling, this role strengthens engagement, supports leaders and teams, and elevates TMC’s external and internal reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Foundational Expectation – Streamlined, Communicative, Quick-Turnaround Creative Maintain a deep understanding of TMC’s creative needs across culture, philanthropy, recognition, and branding. Ensure all stakeholders have access to required materials and understand timelines. Respond quickly to creative requests while maintaining accuracy, quality, and brand alignment. Visual Identity & Brand Management · Maintain and develop TMC’s visual brand identity, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications. · Support the Director of Creative & Brand in implementing campaigns, templates, and design standards. · Provide guidance on design trends, audience impact, and brand storytelling. Content Design & Production · Create visual materials for presentations, reports, print and digital collateral, video graphics, social media, and other internal/external communications. · Develop logos, templates, lower-thirds, title cards, and other multimedia graphics for video productions. · Produce content that supports culture initiatives, philanthropic campaigns, employee recognition, and events. Collaboration & Workflow Management · Act as the central design resource for the Culture, Engagement & Impact Division, ensuring timely, clear, and streamlined communication. · Partner with leaders, creative team, and cross-department stakeholders to simplify processes and make creative support effortless. · Maintain a well-organized repository of design assets accessible to internal users. · Anticipate design needs and proactively provide materials or concepts before requests escalate. Social Media & Storytelling Support · Assist with the creation of visual content for TMC social media platforms, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and dynamic brand presence. · Collaborate with the Director of Creative & Brand to execute campaigns that amplify culture, philanthropy, and recognition stories. · Deliver quick-turnaround visual assets to keep social and internal communications fresh, relevant, and compelling. Quality, Innovation, & Culture Activation · Bring creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to visual solutions that enhance engagement, recognition, and storytelling. · Streamline design workflows and simplify communication to make creative initiatives easy for leaders and team members to use. · Pilot new visual strategies and templates to improve participation, excitement, and ease of use. Measurement & Reporting · Track creative requests, timelines, and project outcomes to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement. · Collaborate with leadership and the Director of Creative & Brand to measure the impact of visual storytelling on engagement, culture, and external perception. Working Style & Collaboration This is a highly collaborative remote position. Successful candidates should expect to: · Collaborate frequently with the Director of Creative & Brand through Microsoft Teams meetings, screen-sharing sessions, and virtual creative reviews. · Participate in regular brainstorming sessions and collaborative planning meetings. · Be comfortable presenting ideas, receiving feedback, and making revisions quickly. · Thrive in an environment where priorities shift, projects evolve, and creative problem-solving is part of every day. · Communicate proactively and consistently with teammates and stakeholders. · Take ownership of projects while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Ideal Skills & Qualifications 1–5 years of graphic design experience in corporate, nonprofit, or agency settings. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign mandatory; Premiere & After Effects preferred). Strong proficiency in creating digital and print collateral, presentations, and video graphics. Quick, creative thinker with the ability to adapt and deliver under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to proactively manage stakeholder expectations and avoid frustration. Highly organized, with the ability to streamline workflows and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Team-oriented mindset, able to collaborate with internal teams and cross-department stakeholders.
