This person defines the longer-term organizational goals, builds the customer relationship along with supporting machine builders and helps to identify new opportunities. The GKAM is responsible for complex relationship development with the highest value customers while achieving sales and account milestones. Milestones can be based on sales turnover, account penetration, project discovery and implementation along with other measures. The goal of the GKAM is to develop the target customer into a customer that specifies Festo as their preferred automation partner. Duties of this Job Include: Creation of detailed, mid-range account strategies in agreement with the customer. Build-up and manage account and project teams, including operational management of specialists engaged on customer projects. Planning of activities necessary to achieve sales objectives. Identify and win projects based on excellent automation competence. International cooperation and collaboration. Achieve development milestones with designated customers. Ensure satisfactory levels of customer satisfaction with designated customers. Effective performance of sales meetings with customers to identify needs and gain customer acceptance of Festo’s products and solutions. Understanding and proactively communicating the organizational structure of the customer. Building relationships with key decision makers and understanding the decision-making processes and requirements of customers. The goal being to gain influence at the highest management levels. Supports the definition and marketing of customer solutions as input for the product development process. Initiates and leads process improvements to develop key accounts in a more efficient and effective way e.g. through capacity planning in SAP. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: University Degree (engineering and/ or business studies; electrical engineering advantageous) Fluent language skills in English. MS-Office, CRM-tools knowledge, SAP 5 years’ external experience Special experience in Management of sales processes, Key Account management Experience in project management methods is advantageous Experience in industrial B2B sales Communication skills Negotiating skills. Winning complex sales. The annual base pay range for this role is between $158,000-$185,000.
