About the Role: Virtual Customer Care Professional As a Virtual Customer Care Professional, you will be the face of our company, interacting with our customers and providing them with exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Engage with customers, understand their needs, and suggest relevant American Express products and services
  • Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate the features, benefits, and value of American Express products
  • Continuously develop and improve key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales
  • Provide exceptional customer care by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and organized manner
  • Document essential customer information in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Comply with all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to sales and customer service practices

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and building customer loyalty
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available for those looking to further their education
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the capability to multitask and navigate multiple systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a customer service and sales environment, with a strong focus on consultative selling and relationship building
  • Knowledge of American Express products and services, or similar financial services experience
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications
  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
