Job Description

As an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at careerzynith, you will be responsible for entering customer and staff data into computer databases under direct supervision. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

• Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents using online computer terminals or personal computers
• Keying and verifying results according to procedures provided
• Recognizing and correcting errors in original data prior to processing
• Recognizing deficiencies in source documents and returning them to the originator for correction
• Maintaining customer and staff databases
• Performing clerical duties for the office administrator
• Maintaining computerized departmental records
• Maintaining confidentiality

Essential Qualifications

• Some data entry experience
• Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills
