Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing patient and medication data, as well as handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

* Utilize careerzynith's data entry software and systems to accurately and efficiently process patient and medication data

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Investigate and resolve missing data issues, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes)
  • Settle all data entry-related exceptions and discrepancies
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in data entry tasks, while meeting or exceeding performance standards

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills, including:

+ Starting and closing a computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing reports + Accessing data online

  • Basic web search skills, including:

+ Opening a web browser + Typing in URLs in the address bar + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a website + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing online forms

  • Basic keyboarding skills, including:

+ Typing at a speed of at least 25 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing reports

  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail or call center environment

  • At least 1.5 years of experience as a pharmacist with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills, including:

+ Typing at a speed of at least 35 words per minute + Typing by memory + Designing reports

  • Familiarity with Spanish and English
