Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer queries via chat and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues with empathy and accuracy, maintaining a positive and professional tone in all interactions.
  • Documenting customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to escalate and follow up on complex issues, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Meeting daily and weekly performance metrics (response time, satisfaction scores, etc.), demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by utilizing the right tools and systems, ensuring a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Proactively identifying patterns in customer issues and reporting trends, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Comfort and proficiency in using CRM systems, email platforms, and live chat tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Patience and professionalism when handling customer interactions, with a customer-first attitude and a commitment to empathy and understanding.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with web-based platforms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous experience in customer service, preferably in a chat/email support role, is desirable. Freshers with strong communication and typing skills are also encouraged to apply, as we provide comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.

Working Hours and Flexibility

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with flexible shifts available (including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts). Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts (if required) and are expected to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in using communication tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zendesk, Intercom, or similar platforms.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple interactions efficiently, with a customer-first attitude and a commitment to empathy and understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude and a commitment to building positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge to assist customers with common issues, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
