Job Summary

As a Customer Service Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for leading our Customer Service Department to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction through various customer service activities. You'll develop, implement, and maintain department objectives, manage sales support and account support functions, and supervise a team of customer service representatives. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Manager at careerzynith, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and promoting the department's goals and objectives through the management of planning and supervising activities
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining department procedures to increase efficiency and improve service
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer service effectiveness reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to enhance department efficiency
  • Overseeing the overall order entry process, including reviewing flow accuracy, ensuring cut-off times are adhered to, and communicating with Sales Management regarding potential issues
  • Communicating sales opportunities to the Sales team to maximize sales penetration
  • Hiring, training, and supervising a team of customer service representatives, including managing schedules, conducting performance reviews, and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Analyzing and identifying changes to increase department efficiency and improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Manager at careerzynith, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years or more of customer service or call center experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Proven ability to manage individuals, motivate, train, and discipline a staff
  • Good computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively
  • Operational knowledge of a distribution warehouse environment

Decision Making Authority

As a Customer Service Manager at careerzynith, you'll have the authority to make important decisions independently, including:

  • Weekly schedules, hiring (90%), job responsibility within the department
  • Customer credits under $500
  • Incentive payout, change of procedure, or implementation of a new procedure
