Job Description:- Title - Engineer-Level 3 – Energy Storage / Solar Engineering Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Contract (with the possibility of extension) Pay range: $46 - $50 per hour We are seeking an experienced Engineer-Level 3 to support utility-scale Solar/PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and execution activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Review engineering drawings, studies, and technical documentation
• Support equipment integration including battery systems and power conversion systems
• Prepare technical scopes of work and support engineering deliverables
• Support system integration, design optimization, and project coordination activities
• Assist with project milestones, permitting coordination, and issue resolution
• Support renewable energy engineering and construction execution efforts

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction projects
• Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy technologies
• Experience with Power Electronics, Substation Design, or Generation Tie Design preferred
• Knowledge of renewable energy safety standards including UL9540, NFPA 855, NEC, and related standards
• Strong communication, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Familiarity with IEC 61215, IEC 61646, and IEC 61730 standards
• Ability to support remote projects with travel requirements
