Weston & Sampson is an employee-owned environmental and infrastructure consulting firm, and they are seeking an Engineer with a focus on water-related projects. The role involves assisting project managers with engineering studies, design plans, and various civil engineering tasks primarily related to water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications
• Visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation
• Office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports
• Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on water related projects
• Willing to travel as required

Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with wastewater process and treatment emphasis
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft excel for data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertaken
• Valid driver's license required
• EIT Certification is a plus
• Construction experience is a plus
• Engineering Consulting industry is a plus
