About the role: We’re looking for an Email Designer who brings together strong visual design with hands-on execution in email platforms. This role sits within the Creative team as part of the Marketing organization, reporting directly to the Creative Director and partnering closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager to bring campaigns and automated journeys to life. You’ll own the design, assist with the build, and help test campaigns ensuring everything we send is both on-brand, loading correctly across devices and high-performing. Responsibilities: Campaign & Lifecycle Design Design emails across campaigns and lifecycle journeys (welcome, onboarding, retention, winback, upsell) Translate briefs into visually compelling, conversion-aware designs Maintain consistency across email while evolving the brand’s visual system in-channel Build & Testing Build emails directly in platforms like Customer.io, Klaviyo, or similar Work within templates and modules, making updates as needed Test emails across devices and inboxes to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and functionality Assist in pre-send checks to ensure campaigns go out clean and on time Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager on campaign and journey execution Collaborate with copywriters, growth, and brand teams to ensure alignment across messaging and visuals Communicate clearly and proactively in a Slack-first, remote environment Provide updates and updates within the Clickup workspace Systems & Optimization Help maintain and evolve email templates, modules, and design systems Support iteration by updating designs based on performance insights Contribute to improving workflows for speed, organization, and consistency Requirements: 3–6+ years of experience in graphic design with a focus on email marketing Experience working with DTC or ecommerce brands preferred Hands-on experience building emails in platforms like Customer.io, Klaviyo, or similar Strong visual design skills with a sharp eye for layout, typography, and hierarchy Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email Experience with email testing across devices and inboxes Ability to balance brand aesthetic with performance-driven design Tools Figma, Adobe Creative Suite Email platforms (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, etc.) Comfortable working in Slack and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) What’s in it for you?
