Director of Client Marketing Services, Agency (health tech, biotech)

KNB Communications is an award-winning PR and marketing agency specializing in healthcare, health tech, and life sciences, on a fast-paced journey, growing and leading healthcare communications. We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Director of Marketing Services to lead integrated marketing initiatives for our clients and help shape the future of our agency’s digital and growth marketing capabilities. You are equal parts strategist, collaborator, and hands-on marketing leader. You understand how to build integrated marketing programs that engage stakeholders, elevate brands, and generate measurable business outcomes. You are confident presenting to executive stakeholders, proactive in identifying opportunities, and energized by helping both clients and teammates succeed. As Director of Marketing Services, you will oversee integrated marketing strategies across multiple client accounts, guide campaign innovation, mentor team members, and partner closely with account leadership to drive measurable business outcomes. You will help define scalable processes, reporting standards, and strategic best practices that support both client success and agency growth. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, client leadership, creativity, and data-driven decision making. Primary responsibilities

  • Lead integrated marketing strategy for healthcare, health tech, and life sciences clients
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to client stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Develop and oversee measurable marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, and growth
  • Partner with PR, account, creative, and digital teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
  • Guide paid media, social media, content, email, SEO, and lead generation initiatives
  • Evaluate campaign performance, analyze KPIs, and provide strategic recommendations
  • Develop reporting methodologies that clearly communicate ROI and business impact
  • Identify opportunities for client growth and expanded agency services
  • Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration
  • Support business development efforts, proposals, and client pitches
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and emerging digital opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 10+ years of digital or integrated marketing experience
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading client strategy and presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of paid media, analytics, SEO, social media, content marketing, and campaign reporting
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Healthcare, biotech, or life sciences marketing experience preferred

Technical expertise

  • Google Ads and Google Analytics experience/certifications
  • HubSpot experience preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, and reporting platforms
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and social media management tools
  • Familiarity with KPI development, campaign reporting, and audience analytics

Experience that is a plus

  • PR or healthcare communications agency background
  • Website and landing page strategy experience
  • Marketing operations or process development experience
  • Experience with Cision, Muck Rack, and/or Sprout Social
  • Basic HTML or web development familiarity
  • Creative design software experience

Location

  • This position is 100% Remote.
  • KNB Communications is based in Stamford, CT.
  • Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm ET.
