Conduct thorough and timely investigations into suspicious activity and potential money laundering cases, utilizing knowledge of AML/BSA regulations and industry best practices. Utilize various tools and resources to identify and analyze potential money laundering risks and trends within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk management, and law enforcement, to gather information and identify potential risks. Accurately document and maintain detailed records of investigations and findings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes. Keep up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging threats to continuously improve investigative techniques and processes. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Assist in the development and implementation of AML/BSA training programs for employees to raise awareness and ensure compliance. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information and investigations.
