Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer I to join their security team, focusing on building and supporting security services for internal systems and networks. The role involves maintaining existing security services while expanding their deployment and features to meet the needs of the US intelligence community.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain security services that are used internally to support the US intelligence community
• Work backwards from the customer to ensure our services are developed with features that meet the needs of our end users

Skills

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• 1+ years Linux systems administration experience
• 1+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience
• 1+ years of networking experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
• Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems
