We are currently seeking a Claims Examiner II for our Accident & Health department. As a Claims Examiner II, you will play a critical role in processing and evaluating complex insurance claims related to accidents and health issues. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong background in insurance claims. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our policyholders. Process and evaluate complex insurance claims related to accidents and health issues. Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims in accordance with company policies and procedures. Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage and eligibility for claims. Review and analyze policy documents, medical records, and other relevant information to make informed decisions on claims. Communicate with policyholders, healthcare providers, and other involved parties to gather necessary information and resolve any issues. Maintain detailed and accurate records of claims, including all relevant documents and correspondence. Identify potential fraudulent claims and take appropriate action to mitigate risks. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective claims processing. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to insurance claims. Provide excellent customer service to policyholders by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Participate in department meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills. Mentor and train new claims examiners as needed. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Assist in special projects or assignments as assigned by management. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
