We're looking for experienced Civil Engineers in the Houston area to help train, evaluate, and improve next-generation AI career guidance systems — ensuring the advice they deliver is accurate, practical, and grounded in real industry knowledge. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background required — just deep professional expertise and strong written communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Review career-related questions submitted by professionals at different stages of their engineering careers
• Write high-quality "golden answers" that reflect expert-level career guidance within civil engineering
• Create objective evaluation rubrics used to assess AI-generated career advice
• Identify inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete recommendations generated by AI systems
• Contribute your real-world industry knowledge to improve AI career coaching capabilities
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced practicing Civil Engineer with meaningful industry tenure
• Strong understanding of engineering career progression, project delivery, and industry standards
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure, transportation, structural, water resources, or construction projects
• Excellent written communication skills — able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Able to provide practical, actionable, and realistic career advice
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently to meet quality expectations

Nice to Have

• PE (Professional Engineer) license
• Project management experience (PMP or similar)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or interns
• Specialized engineering certifications (e.g., ENV SP, CCM, PMP)
• Familiarity with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) or energy-sector infrastructure projects
