Overview

Lead the future of AI-powered transformation for some of the world's most influential Telco, Media, and Gaming organizations. The Telco, Media, and Gaming Operating Unit is a high-performing, industry-focused team dedicated to helping customers achieve their most ambitious business outcomes through Microsoft's AI, cloud, security, and data solutions. In this role, you will lead and empower a team of talented sellers while partnering with solution architects, customer success leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive customer transformation at scale. You will help shape sales strategy, accelerate growth, and ensure our customers realize lasting value from their technology investments. As a Sales Manager (GM) for the Majors ATU in the Telco, Media, and Gaming Operating Unit, you will lead a team responsible for driving customer engagement, revenue growth, and AI transformation across a portfolio of strategic Enterprise Commercial customers. You will coach and develop high-performing sales talent, build executive-level customer relationships, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that help customers solve complex business challenges and achieve measurable outcomes. You will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, fostering a culture of accountability and growth, and ensuring successful execution across the breadth of Microsoft's solution portfolio. This opportunity will allow you to: Strengthen your leadership and people management capabilities while developing top sales talent. Deepen your expertise in AI, cloud, data, and security transformation across the Telco, Media, and Gaming industries. Build executive presence and business acumen through strategic engagement with senior customer and Microsoft leadership. Responsibilities

You proactively develop and socialize strong customer engagement strategies. You define expectations and strategies for the teams to adhere to. You define strategies and expectations for team(s) to leverage a deep understanding of clients. You drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, recruiting, succession planning, and change management processes. You leverage a strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customers' needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or technology related field AND 10+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing and/or driving business growth or customer digital transformation, sales management, or leadership OR equivalent experience. 3+ years direct/formal people management experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration degree in Sales, Marketing, OR related field AND 12+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, OR Marketing and/or driving business growth OR customer digital transformation, sales management, OR leadership OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, OR technology related field AND 15+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, 5+ years experience in a global technology company 7+ years Media / Telco / Industry sales Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer. Sales Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,400 - $243,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,000 - $267,000 per year.
