Contribute to the development and enhancement of the fashion design curriculum, ensuring its relevance and alignment with industry standards and trends. Stay current with advancements and trends in the fashion industry and incorporate them into the curriculum and teaching materials. Conduct research and scholarly activities in the field of fashion design, and publish and present findings at conferences and in relevant publications. Serve as an academic advisor to students, assisting them with course selection, degree planning, and career development. Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to organize and participate in fashion shows, exhibitions, and other events that showcase students' work. Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings, and contribute to the overall academic and administrative functions of the department. Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in the field of fashion design. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and academic excellence. Uphold and promote the values and mission of the University of Cincinnati and the Department of Fashion Design.
